Re: IH engine March 20, 2016 09:48AM
It's a 436 crank

Re: IH engine March 20, 2016 11:11AM
Lol yeah I'd say thats what he meant 5.06 stroke would be correct

Re: IH engine March 20, 2016 01:36PM
bore x bore x stroke x .7854 x 6 =
So yeah I goofed up above (YEP I SAID THAT) Either way you still need to do something about the compression height of the pistons. And I have a Hyper block (with new girdle) , crank , billet pistons 2 sets of rings (used) 2 sets of C rings (used) superstock heavy wall sleeves , new solid pins, new set of liner O rings (All machine work on block is fresh)

Typical 504 (4.625 bore x 4.75 stroke) typical 540 ( 4.625 x 5.35 stroke) Thats going from a 414 (4.75 stroke) crank and going to a 466 (5.35 stroke) crank BUT this WILL change the compression height of pistons so its not JUST a crank swap. I actually have a Hyper 540 setup (billet pistons etc) for sale if you are interested Keith 402/750-8652
