Will a otherwise stock ih 414 in a 1066 hold side by side twins without blowing apart? I also have a truck pump to put on too just curious on how you feel it would stand up for maybe a couple hooks |

Depends on how big the turbos are and how much boost they put out. |

Thinking twin 3lms and doing a right hand setup |

Unless you stage or stack them, you might not be able to even spin two that are bolted to the same exhaust manifold. |

Try looking up a S2E turbo. They are the big brother of the 3LM and only 1 step down from a S-400. The 3LM spools fast but doesnt have quanity while the S2E has more quanity so a 3LM spooling a S2E should make for alot of power and fun. Talk to Spencer Diesel (712) 262-5267, They are really good about turbos and the price from the 3LM to the S2E are about the same Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 04/04/2016 05:00AM by NS 1066. |

IF you use the stock fuel pump I dont see the point in staged twin chargers. The stock 414 is tough but at high fuel and boost numbers you will need to address the head gasket. A lot depends on RPM also. Under 3500 the stock valve train is ok, above with extra pressure and you will want to change at least springs, if not rockers etc. IMHO |

Currently has a 13mm rotary with dual feed injectors thinking about doing headstuds and fire ringing the head just to get that out of the way for the future just in case I decide to do something different i wouldnt plan on turning more then 3000 with twins which brings into question will they even light with two under 3000 and with all do respect Gonzo 1066 the only point is to see what will happen because i hakve yet to find a person to tell me otherwise an for the sheer fun of engineering because without people like me people like you would still be traveling via horse an buggy or shoelace express but sincerely appreciate your input sir |

It will very easily spin a 3LM466 on the bottom and an S-300 on the top with your 13mm pump/injectors. Better have it in high third or faster, which means a better clutch and TA. |

Twins will work awesome on a 1066... I prefer a blonde in each fender! |

I'm thinking 60 pounds of boost or a little more. |

The 414 will handle 60psi very easily. I have seen 57 with my single 3-LM. Although I did have to install fire rings. Sounds like a fun project. |
