How much can a dt 360 with gt 42 turbo and a p pump make in horse power at 3000 rpm.

Re: small cubic in. April 29, 2016 01:43AM
22.5 horse power! No, just giving you some crap. I'd say you ought to be knocking on the 200 horse power range. I'm sure there's others that could give you a closer figure. I just couldn't resist responding. Sorry, the devil (Ted Cruz) made me do it!

Jeff Suits put together a combination close to that in Central IL. Used a HX55, Suits cam, P pump @ 3000 rpm. Close to 600 hp.

Was that on a dyno

Re: small cubic in. April 29, 2016 04:16AM
Yes. Between that Suits combination and a couple of the 5.9's in that class the average HP numbers that have gone to a dyno is right at the 600 hp mark. When you do homework and work on stuff you get that kind of horsepower. These aren't motors that someone bought a bunch of garage sale stuff and bolted on and expected those numbers.

I thought it sounded low. I would be disappointed

Re: small cubic in. April 29, 2016 04:45AM
I did forget to mention that the turbos are slugged to 2.3".

No water, cooler or map ring

Re: small cubic in. April 29, 2016 08:19AM
Ok makes more since. Whats the point of having all the good parts if its restricted so much.

How much would be gained by allowing water, cooler and map ring?
