D21 for hot stock puller ?

Just curious how a d21 would work for a hot stock tractor how hard to get down to 8500 pros and cons thank you |

Pros: pto 3pt and draw bar remove easily. Pull them off plate it build hitch using holes there on housing. Pull off cast centers and remove front cast bolster. And you are there as far as weight. Cons: the biggest is the injection pump. Don't spend money on it. Go inline. |

Get on you tube and look up thresherman's 12500 12 mph. Kelsey Myers is the person who uploaded it. And the d21 is around the 7 min mark. It's painted black |

That black D 21 is running a M11 pump. Ed at heritage diesel builds a very good and reliable rooas pump. |

That sounds like the Repking's black D21, and it has an AMBAC Model 100 rotary from Scheid I believe, that is stock appearing for an 8000 series, so it's kinda grandfathered in lol! I do build an occasional M100 puller pump, but my specialty is the 450 Roosa. There's lots of places that don't allow an inline on just everything. |
