Antique Cutoff year - a grey area ... June 14, 2016 12:28AM
Hey Guys,

How does your association draw the line for the cutoff year to be eligible to pull, Some areas around me have 1958 or 1962 as the cutoff year. The bigger question is what do they do about tractors designed before the cut off year but built after. What i mean by that is that i have a 1964 tractor that was designed in 1962 and unchanged until 1967. Yet if no one checks my S/N , i get away with pulling it as a '62. does your association actually check for MFG year or Production years ? how would they treat a tractor in my situation?

2 poor 2 pull :-(

Lets just say, for example, the age limit was 1958 or older. This generally means if the tractor model in question was produced in 1958, all ages of THAT MODEL are accepted. A Farmall 460 or 560 were produced from 1958 thru 1963. The actual age makes no difference, as long as it was produced in 1958.
