Burney IN Farm Stock Pull Sept 4 August 28, 2016 07:52AM
Burney Volunteer Fire Department is hosting a Farm Stock pull Sunday, Sept 4 at 5 pm.

Burney is located about 10 miles west of Greensburg Indiana just off Hwy 46. Take Hwy 46 to County Road 850 W, turn north. Go through first stop sign. Turn right at sign in town to trailer parking. We have a 5 acre field of grass for trailer parking and plenty of car parking.

Classes:
10,000 lbs (Open RPM, ALL safety equip if over 3000RPM-wheelie bars, scatter blanket, air shut off valve, etc)
11,500 lbs (no 6030 or 5020, 20.8 tire, 3000 RPM, Open MPH)
12,000 lbs (3000 RPM, 20.8 tire, Open MPH)
12,000 lbs (A-pump, 20.8 tire, 3000 RPM, Open MPH)
13,000 lbs (Farm Stock, Cast Wheels, 3 pt Hitch, and Rocker Shaft and working PTO, 20.8 tire, 3000 RPM, 8 MPH)
13,000 lbs (Farm Stock, 20.8 tire, 3000 RPM, 12 MPH)
10,000 lbs (Pure Farm, 18.4x38 tire, 3000RPM, 6 MPH, no water, no pusher pumps, have working PTO, rockshaft, & hydraulics, must be field ready tractor, pressed steel wheels allowed)

I was also curious what sled the Burney Volunteer Fire Dept would be using for their farm stock pull this Sunday?

I guess you are going to be having the singer sled again as in years past. its ok, I wouldn't want to advertise that either, attendance numbers would go down tremendously

I been to this pull since 2012 (14 was a rainout I believe). Always glad to support any volunteer fire department. Without these people our small communities would suffer.
Last year was only time that particular sled was used I think. If someone would confirm this years arrangement it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks KLG
