I just buy a cam, and i wonder how many clearance I need between the valve and the piston on the intake & exhaust side. thanks guys

Depends on the cam. 1/4" should clear even the biggest cams. If you're doing a limited RPM class you don't want the valve relief any deeper than they need to be

It's a Vogel 220/242 .375". Open Rpm

You should really "clay" your pistons before assembling to make sure.If the head has been milled the valves will be closer to piston.It also depends on the pistons you are using.
