What did Dave mean that Outlaws and Mstpa 4.1s were not on the same level as others in class.

The outlaw tractors are probably a little short in the horsepower department because of their turbo rule but did well.

Outlaws has 4.1 smooth bore box turbo that is going on 7 or 8 years old. They are only allowed a Boush P pump with 13 MM plungers and cast head. They made the rules in this class so not to make the same mistakes the big pros did. Also no billet heads so Outlaw tractors about 300 horsepower less than other associations with open rules and the latest and greatest 4.1 map ring turbo. The Outlaw points champion got 3rd last night and did probably put on better turbo.

There is not a group that allows a map ring in the 4.1 class.

Thanks for the info didn't realize the differences and yes all tractors in 4.1 done a great job.
