How much hp can be made with a ih 466 that's done right can it spin a 4.1? This is for a 8500 pro class

Newbie, don't be discouraged by other posts. Maybe the class you are fixing to run only allows 466?
I suggest building aaccording to the rules that. The organization that you plan to run with allows. Also even more important don't build beyond your budget and go and have fun pulling. And to answer your question, yes a properly built 466 can run a 4.1 charger. You just have to build it to do so. Anywhere from a 3.9 to a 4.1 will work fine. Ppump up to 4.4 charger 505 cubic inch 8000 lbs I would like to stay with 466. I no I need to get to the 1900- 2000hp mark just trying to find out if it can be done.
