Beware of Crankshaft Specialist!!!!! August 28, 2017 01:13AM
This is not meant to be a keyboard/online bashing, but just a warning to all fellow pullers out there. I know of four fellow pullers who have done business with Crankshaft Specialist out of Cordova Tennessee. My understanding is that the owner will promise you that not only can he do whatever job you want done, but have it right away. All you need to do is send him a down payment to start the process and pay the balance upon receiving the product. From what I've been told, the nominal down payment is $1,500.00 or slightly less. I'm not an attorney, nor have I haven't looked up Tennessee law concerning this, but my understanding from talking with the pullers who were taken is this amount is just under the amount that they can be prosecuted. You can try and sue them, but the amount is small enough that you'll spend more in legal fees than you'll hope to recover. I'm not bashing, just relating what I've been told by these fellow pullers who I believe are straight forward and honest. If this posting keeps someone from losing time and money, it's worth it. Caveat Emptor-the buyer beware!
