Electronic fuel injection tractor class December 11, 2017 08:31AM
With all the talk of new classes here is a class that might be a stepping stone for the future of tractor pulling. Forget all the big cubes to start with.
466, 3" turbo with what ever type of electronic fuel injection you want. Allow any computer system there is. The diesel truck classes already use this right ? Just a brain fart but might be neat to do.

I've been waiting on this class for years. Already a bunch of thought and R&D done on this topic. Really big numbers and way better durability.

The tuning can get a little tricky? Having a port and software less used off of a pickup say later 5.9 with EFI live software right in a OBDII port? But why not just put a electronic cummins in the tractor along with the harness/computer. But Every tractor manufacturer used a different “box” or software not cheap and easy to use as the pickup world

Just make a stand alone software to run electronic injectors. With today's know how I don't think it would be that difficult.

Bosh motorsports already has a stand-alone device capable of controlling pretty much whatever you want to use.

EFI is simple, cheap and awesome, it's stupid that pulling is so against any tech made in the last 20 years. It should be a no brainer to be allowed in all the big classes.
