who runs 360 twin 3x4?
xcaliber has rules for 360 with any compound setup but runs lighter weight is 30.5 your only option? |

Most organized pulling groups use 30.5 tire rule as MAXIMUM tire size.
If you prefer to run 24.5' s or, 23.1' s, that is dandy. |

These are the national rules plus 150 pounds minus the 470 diesel and giving all diesel tractors an extra hundred pounds. Which part of them is not "rules that are already working" |

I like the no 470 cubes rule we already have classes like that around here with light pro at 466 and 3200 rpm at 466. |

Glad to see PPL taking a interest. The PPL Western series has to hooks on there schedule in Missouri. I hear there was a few more in Iowa and Nebraska. |

I’m not sure what class they are running but it’s not light limited...why not just adopt rules that already work...that’s what’s wrong with pulling everyone wants to reinvent thw be so they can play in there own sand box. |

It's a start for the pullers out that way, everyone wanted this class to grow. But they read the other threads about this class and form there own opinions of what works and is having some issues. All rules can be changed if need be Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 02/09/2018 12:35PM by David Runkle(earls dream). |

misnomer

IH DT 360 diesel twin turbo sure is not a "limited" performance machine. Those engines sure know how to make power. That is bona fide SS of Regnier Bros., Jerry VanDorpe, Tom Dickerson, Jerry Mundy and others that sure made their mark in 55 & 7500 NTPA in the 80's. Put today's technology in those engines and turbos and oh, my, what a power house. Sure is no "limited" in that combination!
That motor in stock cubes with a single 3x4 turbo is nothing to sneeze at. But would be more realistic for LLSS than what they are allowing. |

Now go look at the national rules and the 360 twin opinion is written in there. |

PPL & Outlaw are allowing twin 3x4’s on the 360’s, not any size as you and Real LL are implying. A few groups in MO allow any size twin 360 at 6100 vs 410 3x4 at 6400, but that is not what they are talking about here. |
