the p-3000 and p-7100 are similar pumps but i think the main difference is the 7100 has roller cam followers on each plunger
which will allow for a little more aggresive cam profile but both pumps can be built with large plungers and push 1200+ ccs of fuel. Also the 7100 has a larger bolt hub pattern and larger cam bearings the main difference in appearance is on the bottom of the pump body the 3000 has freeze plugs and 7100 has a plate on the bottom the P 8600 is a different animal i dont know much about it. i think it originally came on some mack truck engines but this pump is not allowed in alot of classes |

I've seen P3000's with freeze plugs in the bottom.
Typically 7100's all have the same pilot diameters and driveshaft diameters. 3000's commonly have different pilot diameters, as well as both large and small driveshaft diameters. |
