NOPE! So many people mistake an MW for a P pump. The MW was used on some of the later Perkins V8's. Any P pump on one was put on by someone other than Perkins. |

To hot too farm

Now Ed you just ruined this guy's theory of stock core pump in a 10 mph farm class. Are you also going to tell us that his MF didn't come stock with a 3x3 turbo? Gee who would have thought |

My question is in a class that has a 2.4 box turbo rule and a 3,000 rpm limit and a 12 mph pace does it matter what kind of fuel pump they use...
Meaning a stock core, a A pump or P pump? My thoughts are with these rules it shouldn't matter what you're using for a pump. Thanks |

Just wanted to let you know that yes massey had a 2805 that they called a proto-type that was a special order when they were switching to the 3000 series. It came with p-pump bigger lines and injectors plus had a factory intercooler. There is one up around La Crosse that St. Joesph equipment sold. As a huge pulling fan I follow as much as I can all year round. As I am unable to work due to reasons beyond my control gives me time to do so and I'm glad Sw pullers have a extraordinary club to watch and follow I can't help but realize the farm stock class has controversy. When people go on witch hunts about pump size and fail to see that some internationals don't have a pto or john deeres with wrong engine blocks. I do have to say still fun watching all the iron at the pulls I get to go to just hope the class don't end up like bagderland did. |

a 466 a pump 4320 would be a factory repower i believe, not sure about a p pump on a 466 red one? just like a 359 turbo is a deere repower for a 4020. I know that for sure we had one and it was awesome more power and more fuel efficient than a 404 |

I was referring to a 8.1 block is not a replacement for a 404. But I could be wrong but wasn't a 359 was shorter than a 404 to fit in the smaller frame of a 2950? |
