Re: Hammond lions truck and tractor pull July 7th June 25, 2018 12:38PM
do the farm tractors have to have a pto ?

Re: Hammond lions truck and tractor pull July 7th June 25, 2018 02:12PM
How about this if your tractors not farm then pull improved. Thats why that class is there.

Re: Hammond lions truck and tractor pull July 7th June 26, 2018 02:14AM
The tractors are farm. They have a pto. Like pulling a speed limit. Have no wheelie bars.
You have no speed limit classes .
Once you start pulling improved the towns expect you to do it at their pulls too.

Saw the flyer for Prairie Farm Pull July 13.
This is also a lions Club pull.
Pay back After Chores $200, $100
Hobby Stock $100, $ 75, $50.
Improved Farm 2.8 $200 , $100, $ 75.
Farm Trophy
Don't understand why the payback is less at Hammond. Both towns have a nice track .
The stands are FULL at both.
What is wrong with this picture ?

Could it be that it is a pull to raise money? Could it be that the Hammond lions have built the facility from the ground up in the last two years while the PF site has been there and paid off for decades? Or is it that they are just trying to screw you out of payout?

Re: Hammond lions truck and tractor pull July 7th June 28, 2018 07:05AM
your difference is you get money in farm stock instead of a trophy. who wants a 10$ trophy?

Re: Hammond lions truck and tractor pull July 7th June 29, 2018 03:34PM
Farm tractors needs to have a pto. If you don't have a pto you can pull improved farm

Re: Hammond lions truck and tractor pull July 7th July 07, 2018 03:08PM
at the pull right now and have been here many times before. Last fall started hour and a half late. Supposed to start at 4:00 tonight didnt get good till5:00. 6:45 they stop to go over track again for 45 min. Progressing slowly. Really seem to be disorganized and disapointing.

Re: Hammond lions truck and tractor pull July 7th July 08, 2018 09:33AM
Who won the Pro-Farm classes?

Re: Hammond lions truck and tractor pull July 7th July 08, 2018 12:57PM
Hammond was a good show! More tractors there than any other show we have been too this year. Would like to say Thanks to all of the people for their hardwork at putting on the pull. Can't wait for the next Hammond Pull.

Re: Hammond lions truck and tractor pull July 7th July 10, 2018 03:52AM
I agree with Born Deere 24.
If they would have had better organized we would not have to be there till 2 a.m. !
Was there last year & the same thing.
Starting at 4:00 this year you would think the pullers & crowd could get home at a earlier time .
Try 2 sleds ?
The guy running the sled that was there was busy visiting with guys buy the sign up sheet ..
Then it broke & then had to repull tractors because the sled was not set RIGHT ????
He just sat in it & did nothing ???
The sled has to keep moving to get the pull done at a dissent time .
The Truck Pullers were NOT ready ... They have done it before.
Should have a RULE .. If you are not there to hook you loss your turn !!
I will NOT go to that pull again !!
