To the Pullers & Fans Coming to the 2018 Langford Northeast Nationals Pull

On behalf of the Langford - New Oregon Volunteer Fire Company we would like to give you some information regarding our "NORTHEAST NATIONALS" Pull on August 4th & 5th. We are thrilled to bring the NTPA to Langford for 2 days this year, quite a change from our first pull back in 1946. Of course we are also thrilled to have our friends with the Empire State Pullers and the WNYPPS joining the show. It's exciting for us in Langford as we are stepping up to the plate with 2 great days of Pulling Action!

Pits & Camping
We have relatively spacious Pit area, but with 3 organizations coming to town we want to make sure that the Pullers and their Rigs get prime consideration. We have overnight Camping offered to the attendees which is adjacent to the Pit area. All Pullers will get complementary camping privileges for the Hauler and one additional Camper. Should you have an additional Camper/s they will be charged the $60.00 weekend camping fee. (From Friday –Monday Morning included).
We will make every effort to get the additional Campers and Support vehicles near the pits, but timing may play a factor. Should you want to visit the sights, you are free to come in whenever you like.
On Saturday for the Pull everyone on the Entire Grounds (with the exception of the Pullers) is required to buy admission to the show (and wear the wristband) which is $20.00. Fans will be able to purchase a 2 day ticket for $40.00 on Saturday (Saving $5.00)
Sunday the grounds are opened up and admission is charged just in the Fenced in Pull Track and Stands. The admission is $25.00 for the entire day and the Association Admission rules apply to the Pullers and Crew. No need to rush out Sunday Night, you are welcome to Spend the night and leave Monday morning. Actually everyone is invited to the clean up on Monday if they care stay!

Concessions:
Forget about cooking as the food is all good and reasonably priced. We have our World Famous BBQ Chicken, Burgers, Sausage, Hot Dogs, Sweet Corn, Salt Potatoes, French Fires, Pizza, Popcorn, Peanuts, Ice Cream (Lots of Choices!). To wash it all down there are plenty of beverage choices: Water, Milk, Soda, Malted Adult Beverages and Beer (Lots of Beer). Open 1pm-11pm Saturday, Sunday 11am- Close – We may sell out of food on Sunday Night so plan accordingly
Saturday Morning the Scouts will be selling Coffee and Donuts in the Pits & Camping area starting at 7am.
Sunday Morning the LNOVFD Auxiliary will be serving a Down Home Country Breakfast at the Fire Hall from (7am - 9am or Sold out) - Ham & Sausage, Eggs, Pancakes (with real Maple Syrup), Hash Brown Patty & Coffee, Upstate Milk or Water. All for $8.00. Eat there or take out.
There is a small (really small) Convenience Store in Langford within walking distance of the Grounds open 7am-9pm.

Saturday’s Pull:
Empire State -2 pm – PS Diesel 4x4 Truck, Super Farm Tractors
NTPA GN - 4 pm – LSS, Mini, FWD, Diesel HSS, Unlimited Modified

Sunday’s Pull:
Invitational Pro Street Semi -12 Noon
WNYPPS – 9 pm – LLSS -Nationals
Empire State -1:30 pm –MOD, HSS
NTPA GN - 3:30 pm – LSS, Mini, FWD, Diesel HSS, Unlimited Modified

Langford, NY is located at the intersection of Rt.249 & Rt.75 in North Collins, NY.

From North or East: New York State Thruway (I-90)WB – Exit #57 to Rt. 75 South (Multiple Hotels at this Exit) –Follow thru Hamburg After exiting Village Rt.75 turns left off from Rt. 62 –Follow 10 Miles to Langford –Turn Left onto Langford Rd. –Pit Entrance 500’ down on West Side of Fire Hall.

From the South/ South East: I-80 or I-86 to US-219 North- Exit Rt.39 in Springville NY – Rt.39 West to Collins Center –to Rt. 75 North –Follow 7 Miles to Langford- You will pass Pull Grounds-Turn Right on Langford Rd. – Pit Entrance 500’ down on West Side of Fire Hall.

From West/South West: New York State Thruway(I-90) EB – Exit #58 to Rt. 20 North/East –Follow thru Circle for 4 Miles then Turn Right on Rt. 249 –Follow 10 Miles to Langford (some Turns in 249) –Cross Rt. 75 to Langford Rd. –Pit Entrance 500’ down on West Side of Fire Hall.

Kudos to the LLSS pullers who noticed my error in the Class start time on Sunday. The LLSS class is scheduled to start at 12:30 PM , right after the Semi's. You all passed my Test.. Looking forward to seeing this highly competitive and entertaining class.
