Can you get 600 cubes with just bore out of a case 504?

What is your application? N/A, Turbo, limited RPM? Have put 5.125" piston in but under 50 psi boost and 2750 rpm pushed the back corner off the block in few runs. So not sure you can find reliable 600 with just bore.

5 inch works fine, have to put a head stud in back of block on exhaust side to keep back of block from breaking. This is common practice even with stock bore .

Have heard similar info. We were running head bolts, not studs.
