BENDING OR SHAPING RULES January 11, 2019 08:27AM
If you have a class developed with a fair number to sometimes too many competitors.

If some small group comes to that class or even a large group and ask (or tells you that they want to) pull in your class BUT we want more weight for our equipment to compete because they feel they are under powered what would you tell them.

1) ok you can pull in this class and give them weight
or
2) ok you can pull in this class but NO extra weight. because we have a successful developed class and you compete the best you can

#2. Never combine 2 sets of vehicles into one class with a handicap unless you must in order to get viable numbers. Each group will always be jockeying to gain an advantage thru adjustments to the handicap.
