Would this SS Open compromise be feasible? April 29, 2019 03:17PM
To allow the 903s a place to run in NTPA GN competition, with a slight handicap, would a compromise of either 1) allowing the 903s to weight 7800 lbs and everyone else to weight 8000 lbs, or 2) allow 903s to run 8000 lbs and everyone else to run 8200 lbs be feasible? I know GALOT won the last few titles without a 903, but otherwise they seem to be the ones to beat. Would a 200 lb difference be satisfactory to all sides?

(I would combine the diesels and find a weight such as 8500 lbs and have just one SS class again as Richard suggested, but that's a topic for another thread).

PPL didn't change anything and they have 18 pre-commits for the class. Why would they want to pull with NTPA again anyway? Spend hundreds of thousands of dollars and support a sanction for years just to get screwed over. Would you go back?

At how many events have they had anyway near that number show up?
Just cause they sign up for a class doesn't mean they are going run some of the events or any of the events for that matter.

Why would someone spend minimum of $750 dollars and as much as $1950 to not run any events unless catastrophic damage knocked them out?
