Pulling seems to be lacking July 14, 2019 08:26AM
Some very good pulls in the East this year and very low attendance. Bloomsburg and now the one in MD. Seemed like a light crowd at the Buck earlier this year. Is pulling on a downhill slide ? I usually attribute low attendance to weather but Bloomsburg was ok and so was MD. On the local level if it's not a Fair pull there aren't many spectators. Trucks seem to draw a crowd at some locations. Pullers are spending HUGE $$$$$'s and with no profitable fan numbers how long can pulling survive ? I have no idea what it cost just to rent a sled but I don't see how attendance can even pay that bill leave alone the cost of the event. Too bad.
