8.3 cummins into 1850 Oliver September 09, 2019 11:06AM
How hard would it be to fit an 8.3 cummins into an 1850 oliver

It can be done. Not too much more difficult than putting a 5.9 in. It’s obviously bigger but can be done. Not sure where you’re located but there are some great resources for you to lean on.

Brad Maibach at Maibach Tractos is the best that I know of. He’s located in Creston, OH.

8.3 won’t fit in a 1850 factory gas or diesel tub.

I'm located in central Missouri. Does some of the frame have to be cut down to get it to fit?
