How hard would it be to fit an 8.3 cummins into an 1850 oliver |

It can be done. Not too much more difficult than putting a 5.9 in. It’s obviously bigger but can be done. Not sure where you’re located but there are some great resources for you to lean on.
Brad Maibach at Maibach Tractos is the best that I know of. He’s located in Creston, OH. |

8.3 won’t fit in a 1850 factory gas or diesel tub. |

How hard is it to straight shaft it by getting rid of 2 speed? |

ITS easy just get a input shaft made long enough to replace the over under |
