JD combine tach January 11, 2020 01:23PM
I have looked up the parts on JD website parts and I cannot find any difference in parts on the tach drive gears between a tractor and a combine. But the combine tach doesn’t put out the correct speed. I have talked to other people that have the same problem. What am I missing?

Don't trust the website. The reason I say that is because I have a John Deere combine that has part numbers for belts in the owners manual. There are a few of them that are the wrong number in the manual. And those numbers have not been changed.
