Many take the 329/359 Deere (fair warning that you need the correct adapter to run with a 4010 rear but Southern Valley Diesel has made some billet ones that are reasonably priced). There are a few that are taking a 404/466 and regrinding the crank and then using billet rods to get to 370. At one point Lewis had a set of rods/pistons/gas head for sale reasonable if you go that route.
I am using some 6068 stuff (block/head) and a 359 crank to get there. Good luck and let me know if I can help at all. |
