Truck Insurance May 18, 2020 11:54AM
I upgraded from my pickup to an old grain truck (1985 International S1900) to pull my tractor. I was surprised to find out how much the insurance was (just liability is around $1000 per year on a farm policy). It was about 4 times what I expected for an old truck. Just curious if anyone has any suggestions or ideas on how to get a lower rate.

You might want to check into putting a big sleeper or van body on it and get it licensed as a motorhome. It's going to depend on what state you are in. License and insurance might be much less expensive.
