24.5x32 or 20.8x38

Talk of the town

Seems like tires seem to be a popular topic, and I need some help. I got a modified farm 10,500lb tractor 3000rpm A pump 2.6 no water what’s better a 24.5x32 single cut firestone or a single/top cut 20.8x38 firestone radial? Which is harder to turn? |

20s turn much harder than the 24s. I would say in your class mentioned I would go with the 20s, that is if ya can roll em. |

Probably because they are just plain bigger. A puller 2000 has a plate of 350 sq. In. And a deep tread is 410 sq. In. |

Your ground speed will change between the two sizes. We can't quite run high gear in the same weight class 10500 so I'm thinking a 24 would allow us to do that. We can run high gear in a 9500 class. So it may help you 1 or the other depending on your gearing. |
