Flywheel weight September 04, 2020 09:58AM
Needing to get a steel flywheel made.this would be on a natural ss.sleds would be drop pan type, tracks vary as usual, not many afternoon hooks,5k to 65k class weight,18.4x38 tires, estimating 600 to 650 cu.in,and 20 to 23 mph.so that being said what would be a good flywheel weight ?,could most weight be located around the outside perimeter?,what would be a good bolt pattern to use for a multi disc dry clutch ?,was thinking possibly a 5.9 cummins to use the truck clutches, they seem more easily available ?
