Hey guys doing my first build and I’m looking for guidance what are the positives to running a turbo horn I’m running a 3000rpm p7100 466 ci with a s366 turbo is there a big difference between running one and not running one? |

I've seen a plain old rain cap work just as good as a 600 dollar guillotine, have to try on dyno |

A long, long time ago in a fluid dynamics class in college I'd sit and calculate the differences of flow relating to pipe inlet shapes. Yes, the inlet shape does make quite a difference in the amount & the velocity of a fluid (air is a fluid) that will flow through a closed conduit (pipe). The goal of a velocity stack (turbo horn) is to smooth the airflow entering the pipe and to minimize air turbulence and to move toward a laminar flow condition.
So short answer, yes a velocity stack will increase air flow over a blunt entrance or plain pipe. How much... I don't know, it will depend on the shape/radius of the velocity stack, but no matter what it will move more air than without one. They have changed their terms of service and stated they would fine PayPal users for spreading "misinformation" and "hate, violence, racial or other forms of intolerance that is discriminatory". PayPal did not provide definitions for some of these vague terms. Woke corporate policies regarding "misinformation" could result in an automatic fine of $2,500 which would have been removed directly from the customer’s PayPal account. PayPal did backdown from some of their policies but quietly implemented portions of them in later terms of service. A financial institute has no right to monitor social media accounts or speech. This is unacceptable and I'll no longer do business with PayPal. |
