2021 Pulling Season January 03, 2021 05:44AM
The 2021 pulling season got started Friday and Saturday at the Cowan Civic Center in Lebanon, Missouri with the annual NATPA event promoted by Carl Buckner and his Missouri Pulling LLC group. 806 hooks over the course of two days with pullers from New York to South Dakota in attendance, despite freezing rain, snow, COVID, and the holiday. Masks weren't a big deal, some wore one if they felt comfortable and didn't if you didn't want to. It was a good weekend to see pullers together having fun and I hope a good omen for the season to come despite some hiccups already. Lots of pulling already on the schedule, from Shipshewana to the Oklahoma Winter Nationals (antiques/classics) and another NATPA event in Springfield, MO the first weekend in February...that's not counting the Florida circuit this winter too. Get out and enjoy the sport however you can!
