Charlestown, IN (June 16th, 2021) – Tampico, Indiana is a tiny hamlet an hour south of Indianapolis that springs to life with the sights and sounds of Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League each year for the Grassy Fork VFD Truck and Tractor Pull. After a hiatus in 2020 due to the pandemic, the event returns with its’ unique format and festival atmosphere for the 54th edition.
Beginning on Thursday, June 17th with antiques, the event goes full blast on the Friday the 18th and Saturday the 19th with two sessions of Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League action. Pro Stock Tractors will barrel down the legendary Tampico track in both sessions for Champions Tour bragging rights. Hot Farm Tractors running for Ag Protect 1 Midwest Region points will also be in action in both sessions. 9500 Limited Pro Stock Tractors will be in competition in session one competing for Midwest Region points also. Local farm stock, open farm, and other classes will be contested as well on the evenings of the 18th and 19th. The event is free admission; proceeds from the pull are generated from food sales that include a legendary fish sandwich and homemade pies.
