Any body running a 3 speed in their 8.3 cummins powered white? I have a 2 105 rear married to a 2 135 frame

I have a 2 105 rear married to a 2 135 frame in front. I will be putting an 8.3 cummins in this but would like to run a 3 speed. Do I run long input shaft with chain coupler or the stock trunion set up? Hope make 500 hp and will have to build the 3 speed. I have been told I need to find a 3 from a 3 speed from a 2 105 rather than the larger 2 135 3 speed housing.

I ran a 3 speed when when I pulled a classic tractor class. When I jumped classes, I eliminated the 3 speed. Was told that it would not hold up. At that time hp was around 800. I would contact Terry at TEF. 414-379-8485, he has built some 3 speeds that have held up to.

Yes thank you. We're you running the 2150 with 478 herc or the 8.3 cummins? I have talked some to Terry . He is not sure if we should use the older oliver chain coupler and long input shaft to make this work or to use the newer white power shaft system.
