Chassis rake October 29, 2021 02:28PM
Wondering how much rake everyone puts on the tractor. Just bought a tube chassis have to weld the spindles on just not sure how far to drop the front end. Is there a specific height or is it all about looks to the owner. Is there an advantage to dropping the front end.

Generally lower is better for the front end; the lower it is the lower the center of gravity and the farther it has to travel to “lift up” under load, helps if you don’t have much movable weight. If you have plenty of movable weight, it probably boils down to your opinion on how it looks.
