TNT Truck & Tractor Pulling Teching or Not May 22, 2022 12:00PM
Does anyone know whether or Not TNT teched Tractor or Trucks at Sullivan's Memorial Pull or at the Georgetown Ky Pull this weekend, it was determined during the off season that teching would be done at random, Fuel Samples were to be taken and all safety devices were to be in place but Most Importantly TURBOS were to be checked !!!!! I didn't see anything or hear of any tractor or truck getting teched, just wondering if it was all just Lip Service bein said over the off season !!!!

The most important thing to tech is a turbo?
That is pretty messed up !!!
SAFETY items are THE most important thing to tech for!
As a matter of FACT, many tech officials have been told to stick to SAFETY items only.
Competition items would be handled by the class.
This has happened in at least 3 NTPA member states.
Outlaw Truck and Tractor pullers used to be set up this way on purpose. Each class had "rulesmen" that were to police COMPETITION rules.
Theh's were to check safety issues.
However it is handled, turbochargers are a long ways from a top issue.

I didn't mean that turbos were top priority, what i meant was - that turbos were the hot topic of bein ran illegally in the TNT organization - not that they were the most important- most important only that they were to be teched this year because of suspicion within some competitors !!!!

LLSS --- competitors have even said that the tech officials aren't smart enough to know how to check turbos correctly, makes a puller wonder how some that weren't running up front all the sudden goes to the front --- alot of griping and influence has been voiced to the owner of TNT !!! Its an embarrassment to the LLSS class as awhole to the other organizations that run the class !!!

Not sure anyone was cheating -- thats why they need checked at random-- but a few have all the sudden jump up several feet on the track overnight so to speak --- about the last comment on previous post- always pullers from other organizations talkin about the weight change to 6100lbs as bein stupid and certain pullers having to much influence on the LLSS class, never hear of anyone saying anything about any other class that TNT runs just the LLSS class -- thats whats embarrassing.

Who are the guys who jumped overnight is it because they are running big turbos? And illegal fuel..? Diesel or alky?

Seems as if shingletons are running up front but those diesel guys are pretty good does one just check the diesels or is it the alkys one should check I’m not sure on who you are speaking about running up front over night we need answers to such questions!

ALL need checked, thats the point -- from the post that started this thread --- TNT was supposed to check Turbos, heard it came from the banquet meeting that top 3 or one of the top 3 would get checked at random after class was completed-- has this happened ?

To ? And concerned puller (same guy) —you are referring to someone when you stated “ but a few have all the sudden jump up several feet on the track overnight so to speak” so your referencing a person already in mind as to why you would have stated such comments so who are you calling out?
