Case cam timing

Was wondering if there's a sweet spot for timing currently running 98.5. Case 504 3000 rpm 650cc 3x3. |

I would say thats a good starting point however I would have this conversation with your cam company who ground the cam. Every setup is different and you will just have to try different settings until you get it where you want it. I wish there was a magic number that worked with every setup, but as I said before, no two setups are alike and I definitely wouldtalk to your cam supplier. Too many variables. Best wishes with getting it dialed in. |

Id say you are in the ballpark. I doubt you will notice a change on the track if you go a couple of degrees ahead or back. Only a test on dyno could confirm a positive or negative change. Best wishes with your tuning. |

Agree with Puller8, that's a good grind for your RPM and cubes |
