Anyone out there ever used a diesel timing light? Do they work OK and what brand is a good one to get? Thanks

I have borrowed a couple. They are awesome. Not sure on brand. Even heap ones I have found are running around a grand to buy.

The tech time diesel timing lights are good ones and can usually be found as new surplus items. Just make sure it comes with the light and the line pulse clamp sensor.

$299.99 hooks to #1 injector line with a clamp then u just hook a normal timing light to the pulse box and the battery and fire it up. Very simple to use and a good tool for a quick timing check
