Looking for input on IH sleeves 3000rpm billet piston 700-800hp I know power bore and Darton are good choices but can I get away with a stock sleeve what is the best brand? |

What are the positives of going with power bore or darton? |

I don’t know any pro or con on power bore vs darton, but the pro vs stock sleeve is the material strengths of ductile iron vs grey iron. The only con is really costs, but split a sleeve and any $$$ you saved is long gone.
You should be ok on stock sleeves at that power, but no promises. |

If you are going to be running a wet block I would go with steel sleeves instead of cast. Steel will hold up better to the temperature swings and the pressures of a pulling engine. |
