HELP! BBJD timing for P7100 March 03, 2023 01:20PM
I am getting ready to pull the P3000 off of my 619 and install my P7100. I want to time my pump on the bench before I put it on. How many degrees do I need to shoot for? The tractor will have 400 to 500cc and a S475 (small exh housing). The rest is stock until I blow the gasket. Running 3k rpm. I have been told 30 to 32. Is that too high for my setup? The pump has retard barrels and will pull 4* at full travel so I need to account for that. Thanks in advance.
