How much hp can you get out of a 478 herc? I have one setting on a shelf and thought about tinkering with it and making a puller motor out of it. Local club rules call for 2800rpm max across the bored and turbocharger with a 2.330” inducer bore restriction within 2” of the face of the intake wheel. and can either run the stock appearing pump or upgrade the a P7100. Clubs rules also say has to be stock block for said tractor so was going to put it back in either a white 2-155 or oliver 2150. Thanks for any and all info

Sounds like IPA (illiana pullers association) farm stock class. If it is they put on a good show I have seen then a few times lots of tractors and all competitive
