ITPA 6850 Pro Farm/ IPA Outlaw Class July 06, 2023 12:27PM
Anyone have a tractor for these two classes available for sale? Or know what it would take ball park figures to build one? Wanting to change classes and move up and these two classes interest me quite a bit. If you do comment here with a name and number and I’d love to talk with you. Thanks.

Hey man I would be willing to talk about it with you. I just sold mine and it went down to Kentucky. I believe Jeremy still has the Yellow Rocket for sale , but it would only work in the IPA class. They are excellent classes to pull in with a great group of competitors.

It's a 5.9 repower class with water injection and recast head. Itpa designed it as a cheap starter class?

In the 6850 ITPA profarm, there are currently 4 engine types running in the class: 5.9 Cummins, DT360, 354 Perkins, and a 301 Allis I believe.

the Massey in the class is a 1006 perkins not a 354 anymore

It's a great class to get started in but far from cheap at this point. To be competitive in itpa, you're looking at 5k plus chargers now, and as stated recast heads etc.

What's the rules for this class was just checking results out a few days ago and couldn't find any rules for it on website. Looks like a pretty good class to far away from me but was wondering if mine would meet rules. What turbo limits, cubic inch, pump,water cut tires? Out east we run 401 cube limit, 3x3 turbos p7100 18.4-38 any cut at 6700lb no coolers can run water injection

3000 rpm, 380 cube limit, 2.6 smooth bore charger, 18.4-38 tires, recast heads allowed, water injection, diesel only, aftermarket manifolds allowed, no 4 valve heads, no intercoolers, after market trans allowed but must be in original location and fit inside original trans case. That's the main points....

Sounds like a good class. Would have to change turbo and cam on my tractor to run class and 3,000 rpm governor we run open rpm.
