Does the red dirt in southern states make for a good track?

As with every type of dirt and track, it can very a lot based on how the track is prepped and conditions but overall, the red southern clay can make a very strong track. A great example is the NC State fair track. They have a lot of red clay and it is almost always a very good track that almost always makes everyone drop a gear. A lot of the credit also should go to the red dirt motorsports crew building the track. Nevertheless, when done right, the red southern clay can really make a power track.
