New tractors for 2025, and who's stepping away October 27, 2024 02:48PM
There are photos of a new mod out of the Nelson stable from TX on Facebook. It showed a twin setup but was posted it may hold 4 or even 5 engines. Not sure what this means for the current mod(s).

I believe Chad Haggerty is getting close to having his light mod done, but he could confirm. If it gets finished, I haven't heard if he will run both that and the 2wd.

A new alky ss debuted late this year with Kubota sheet metal. Marty Harrell, maybe. I hope this tractor ventures farther from the Carolinas. It is a beautful piece of machinery.

Who else is building new or changing classes?

On the flip side, who is taking time off from pulling next year?

Nelson's looks like it was setup to be a twin or triple setup only.
Chad is selling his mod.
Marty's tractor isn't new just reskinned.

Bauer's Super Stock (highly anticipated)
Simons Red Pro
Brent Meyer "Wanted a Ring" Pro (according to entry list for Simon $50k pull)

Just a couple that came to mind

Hart's should be back out with Beyond Limits and their new Pro Stock as well.

I have not sold the mod chassis. Since it has not sold I have started building fenders for it. Still have a bunch of money to spend on parts so it’s as life allows things to happen at this point. Probably would have been done if I didn’t run the 2wd this summer. There’s no plan of running both unless I win the lottery.

Re: New tractors for 2025, and who's stepping away Cruisen Mule October 29, 2024 12:13AM
The remade Cruisen Mule of the Millers is going to come out of the Chaos shop can’t wait to see it out again

Years ago I read that Bill was going to name the tractor "Hauling Ass", but his wife persuaded him to go with "Cruising Mule" instead.

Thanks Mark for that tidbit of information on such a great name for a tractor. Thanks IH 5488 for letting know Cruising Mule is going to back out in the future. It was always great to see it running. I am sure it will be a show stopper (it always was) if it is coming out of the CHOAS Shop. #REDPOWER

Does anyone know who bought the “general stupidity” semi? I saw it had sold and made its way to a hook in MN

Doug Miller from mn bought it

Shameless October 29, 2024 04:59AM
I believe Gene Dunn bought Laribee's Shameless semi, and indicated he may run at BG this year.

Re: Shameless October 30, 2024 01:35AM
Gene had Shameless for a while now from what I heard? Didn't hear much about him this year other than the pullers championship. Was he out much this year?

I think mostly OSTPA. He has a stable. Lady Butterfly, Twisted Kitty. I think he ran 2 others in past years, not sure about this year.

Gene runs OSTPA and only had two semis out this year. Armbender and Armbender II are the other two and I know he was waiting on a motor to be finished for one of them. He was in a tight points battle with Scott Ruhl and his new semi this summer.

He has the twisted kitty and the lady butterfly out this year. He came up short to Scott in the points chase. Scott won by 3 and several members in the class protested to find Gene putting air bags on the front axle to raise it, allowing a drawbar height increase. Then after weighing in would let the air out of the front bags. This was caught in the final 4-5 hooks of the season.
