Anheuser Busch April 04, 2023 12:36PM
Kid Rock has a video out shooting at cases of Bud Light and is calling for a boycott of Anheuser Busch. Anheuser Busch also makes Busch Light. I don't know what to do because I love Busch Light, but I don't want to support a company that's woke.

Confused and perplexed,
Trent

Personally I don't drink (nothing against it, just don't do it), however if I did I wouldn't support Bud Light after their garbage support... actually CELEBRATING some mentally unstable dude pretending to be a "girl". It's sick. Our society is sick and getting sicker. My advice, find a beer company that doesn't celebrate that garbage.

Having integrity isn't always easy. Sometimes you have to deny self for something that matters to you. Sometimes the alternative may cost you more money. My wife and I canceled Netflix after they started doing/supporting some nonsense and I've gotten rid of Paypal for similar reasons. When our prepaid Disney+ subscription runs out we'll be done with them too (kids won't like it, but that company 's values seem to be going in the opposite direction of mine). As more and more companies go woke the only thing that will stop it will be a monetary loss. Some of the bigger companies are so indoctrinated that they'll take the loss just to virtue signal about how "loving and accepting" they are. It's time we start supporting companies that share our values or at the very least stay completely out of social issues (very rare these days).

Good luck with your decision. As societal decay increases these types of decisions are going to become more common.

This page is a free service. The cost is covered out of my pocket. It takes a great deal of time and a fair amount of money to keep this website going. Donations for: photos, classified ads, forum discussion, etc... are appreciated.

Side Note: We are no longer accepting PayPal donations. They have changed their terms of service and stated they would fine PayPal users for spreading "misinformation" and "hate, violence, racial or other forms of intolerance that is discriminatory". PayPal did not provide definitions for some of these vague terms. Woke corporate policies regarding "misinformation" could result in an automatic fine of $2,500 which would have been removed directly from the customer’s PayPal account. PayPal did backdown from some of their policies but quietly implemented portions of them in later terms of service. A financial institute has no right to monitor social media accounts or speech. This is unacceptable and I'll no longer do business with PayPal.

Thanks Jake for the advice. That was my hunch. I just needed a second opinion to get it right. Ever since Anheuser Busch was purchased by InBev of Belgium I never have been totally cool with drinking thier beer anyway. From now on I'm going to support the local brewery in our town.
Cheers!

I just had a very long Facebook post about this very thing. In short I feel like AB is forgetting who their core customers are. The same influencer is now hired by Nike to model sports bras, if that isn't a slap in the face of women I don't know what is. Where are the women who fought so hard for their rights when I was young...they should be outraged! Unfortunately I think most of them are liberal and are putting their woke agenda ahead of doing the right thing for the younger women. Very much like the Transgender athletes these older ladies that fought so hard for their rights are letting down the next generation of women.

What I would like to know, is since when did everyone get so hyper sensitive? Corporations have always done what they want and always will. It's called capitalism.

Re: Anheuser Busch April 07, 2023 07:35AM
Because its the degradation of our society one little step at a time. Nikita Khrushchev the former premier of the Soviet Union predicted the the US would become communist not today, not tomorrow but after a long period of tiny little steps. Well those tiny little steps are happening. When I was in school socialism and communism were hateful things. Today 50 years later these things are being embraced more and more by more and more US citizens. Looks like Khrushchev was more prophetic than anyone would have believed back then. I feel bad for what my Grandsons are going to have to live through.

Well said S'no Farmer. I fear for what this country looks like in just five to ten years. The path we're on and the way evil is accelerating is worrisome to say the least. I fear for the garbage that society is thrusting upon my kids. I can't shelter them from it, all I can do is try to educate them about how evil it is.

To MLP, it's not about being hyper sensitive... it's about pushing a social agenda. What Anheuser Bush is doing is actually the opposite of capitalism. They are pushing a social agenda that will actually hurt their profit. They are not putting business first, they are putting a social ideology first. The LBGTQ alphabet mafia has become a religion to many, they are jihadists that won't rest until EVERY single person is accepting and welcoming to their perversion. You can choose to support that ideology if you want, you can choose to support companies that support those ideologies. I choose not to.

I don't buy Nike products (my nephew works for them) because of their knowing support of Uyghur slaves in China making their products, because of them having a racebaiting spokesperson like Colin Kaepernick. I'm not "hyper-sensitive" I just try to support companies that support my values. Do I know everything about every company? Nope, but when I find out something major like this I have to decide where my values are and if my actions alingn with my values. If they don't I'm just a cowardly hypocrite.

Who you support with your money matters. I used to wear Georgia boots because they put money into the sport. They were OK boots, not great, just OK, but I bought them because they supported pulling, I bought better insoles and made them the best boots I could. They weren't on the level of Keen, Red Wing, or Carolina but they supported pulling so I supported them. I supported them because our values aligned. I do the same with current sponsors. I do the opposite with people that actively work against my values.

You can do what you want with your money... but just don't be surprised when your money actively works against you. There are other beer brands, there are other sneaker companies, there are other options, sure some might not be as good or as inexpensive, but are you willing to sacrifice anything for your values? If not then you really don't have any values.

Explain why theses people are doing drag shows in front of children, grooming children for this type of mental deficiency is beyond sick. You had better open your eyes, pushing this sickness has nothing to do with capitalism.

Re: Anheuser Busch April 19, 2023 10:43AM
What alot of people are not understanding is the push from whom ever is really behind the LQTGB Alphabet mafia.
The real reason is population control you push young children to be gay lesbians trannys or nothings. When you
take such young minds and distort them you will take them to a point of no return. The mental damage will only continue
into adulthood from the people they will associate with will keep their minds warped.
These beings that are created are less likely to procreate and produce offspring. Therefore you now have a backdoor to
population control without genocide or government releasing viruses against humanity.
It is sick they are pushing onto children and so many people are accepting of it. If it is an adult that decides to go whackadoddle
hopefully it is before they have offspring. This world is continually progressing into a very sick and twisted society.
