I’m not 100% sure, but I believe a sled reset means the puller that hooked does not have a measurable distance therefore hasn’t officially made a pull. That puller has to rehook or doesn’t get money or points.
With a pulloff, obviously the pullers have official hooks and will get money and points, even if they “broke” after their pull. Interesting, I believe PPL rules state that there aren’t

If you are currently monitoring intake temps and they are up close to 300* then I think you could get a decent drop in EGT’s by adding the air to water with engine coolant circulating.
Also curious, how warm does the engine coolant get? Im not familar with this type of pulling. We generally never see more than about 140* at the end of a run, but the tractor only runs long enough t

They were suppose to run with us and were registered that day. They had it running for a little bit in the pits and shut it back down. Maybe 10 minutes later, and I don't know if they were restarting it or just standing around, it blew the injector hat apart. I can only assume they tried to restart and it backfired.
