Not to stir too much, but didn't we see a component LSS split a couple of years ago? Rear end and driver stay with the sles and the engine and front wheels went down the track. Cracked just in front of the cage.

If someone doesn't get it to you before, I will be at the shop over the weekend and will try to get you the dimensions. Andy runs Franklins on the Super.

IF llss were to be added to the NFMS, I personally would make an effort to go back to the pull but I fear that it would only take 3 or 4 years for it to fall into the political trap that the happens at the show and the deck would get stacked and some of the really good competitors would be left out and we would get the same tractors year after year because if a competitor didn't get invited

What is the pump rotation on a Duetz? I am working on installing on a Case and they are LH rotation. Is the Duetz a LH or RH rotation? For future reference, kinda 1/2 pregnant with a pump at a shop to make the changes.

I looked into that. There are alot of 4bt options but all had either A pumps or VP44 (or whatever that rotary type they had). I didn't find anything personally. If someone knows of something, that had a P pump option, it would be great if you could put it out there.

I looked for a few years and couldn't find anything that is P-pumped with an Ag Governor. I had to get a P-pump from a 4bt cummins from an automotive application and I am having a pump shop adapt an Ag Governor.

John, IMO the only thingI think you missed on was the weight. More like a 7200# area.

Glenn, I am certain that they are not manufactured by Case. I think they are a Rockwell planetary.

Charles, noted on the invalidating. That is why I presented the names that are in PS that are still competitive. I felt it was important to note that the win/finish doesn't directly correlate to which chassis is chosen. Just because a component would be allowed doesn't mean what they have is junk.
... and to those that are saying they don't want components to be in their clas

I would like to present the other side of the coin.
I completely understand the argument where the non-component side is coming from. But, the "there is a class for components" argument doesn't resonate with me. Getting into any of the classes that allow a component chassis also brings the expense of the engine/turbo/fuel requirements that it takes to be competitive in that class, mak

I use Nero 10. I bought it about 7 years ago for about $60. I had no editing experience (still really don't) but it is really easy to use.

I believe that EFI should be considered.
We are not just talking about alcohol, we are talking diesel too. What wold be the difference between a $10K Sigma in Pro Stock and the equivalent EFI set up or what the real cost of a mechanical fuel system. Sure you can go out and buy a garage sale fuel system (and that is the way I do it) but there are alot of people that are running multi thous

Sascha, thanks for the interesting information. I was originally looking at an open source processor to build a platform myself but I may dig into this a little bit and make some comparisons.
It is good to see some solid genuine tech advice back on this page.
