Not many shops have info on these. I’m trying to find a complete set, just the nozzles, or even if someone knows the actual size they are. Anything will help. I don’t have any samples to go by. This is for a buddy down in Brazil for his mud truck, F7000, 7.8.

Yes, that is the rough spot to get as close to 21mm as it'll get. They have their own issues. My pump guy says the lifters can rotate in the bore after losing the keeper(tie bar), but didnt tell me what causes it. Yes, that would be about right on hp.

Can anyone tell me what CC you can get out of a 10mm MW injection pump with stock dt466 truck injectors by turning up the fuel rate and governor? Lets say 3200 rpm tops.
Only piece I can add is with 19mm of rack travel, it pushes 137-140cc. With 21mm of travel, it gets 180-183cc. This is on a typical 10mm MW.

Here's a start. Then again, it is a blog on the internet. Supposedly 10K can get you 1000 HP.
That 10k thing was actually what Hypermax said to one of my buddies. The fine print was that you do most of the work yourself, and save $ on a good used pump. I should take that quote out of the page, I see now it isn't gonna happen for $10k.

Is there a place out there that sells steel 2pc pistons? The IH dealer isnt too helpful, and the only ones showing are for a Hi torque 530. It's going in a road truck with 4-500hp. Work and play, so to speak.
This is the NGD 466(Detroit series 40), not the 466C, or 468 as mostly known.

Just wondering if there's such an animal on the market. Thinking of adding an HX50, or S400.

Prior to gathering a shopping list, I was wondering. At what point should the rod bolts be replaced. This is the truck version, by the way. Would 4500rpm max be ok?

By chance does anyone have the ARP part number for the rod bolts on a 3208? Got a buddy that wants to put them in as an insurance policy.

The Series 40 is the P-pumped version of the 466, which started in 93.
The Series 40E is a DT466E. Detroit put together a great hp rating for them too, from 250 up to 330hp/1150tq, on the 466E, not 530E.

Most shops shy away politely from projects like yours.
To many go wrong. Hope yours goes well.
That's exactly what you'll find nearly everywhere you turn. My theory on turbo selection is to go with what works on a Dodge, but have 2cm larger exhaust housing on the small turbo. You'll still need a fairly tight housing to spin it in such a light rig. When I was planning t

Did the ford 401ci ever come in a ford truck one ton or smaller
Not to say you can't put one in a pickup. That's what I plan on doing, as soon as I can get it going. It's a 1992 6.6 going in a 67 F100, like an old school hot rod idea.

I tried the fire extinguisher on a runaway GM 6.5, adn it just slowed it down a little. Emptied the whole thing down the intake, and didnt kill it. That's not a very good way to shut em off.

It lists it as an MW according to the ID plate on the pump. PES6MW 10
That's what's on this 7.8, and the 6.6's I see in wrecking yards out here in CA.

Did the 6.6 ever come with a p-pump during its last year(93)?
Where might a person get the adapters & gear to run a P, where it originally had the MW-pump?

You can put a shim in the smaller springs. Basically, a ground down washer to this size: 18mm OD, 13mm ID, 1.55mm thickness. Otherwise, you can crank down on the spring nuts 4 clicks(1 full turn).

The big problem with the 7.8(474) is it's too tall. Besides, I'm getting my 401 for $500. I wasnt wanting too much power, just a fun toy/daily driver. Basically, an all Ford drive drive train(the 401, allison AT545, and Sterling rear) in a 67 F100.
The other truck is wanting more. An F350 krew kab, and 40" meats, and Deuce & a half Rockwells.
The main things we were looking for are:

I'm having trouble finding any vendors that do Fords. Plenty for the Kornbinders, of course. I thought I remember seeing someone offered a big cube rotating assembly, taking 401 to about 456. Was this only for ag 401's? Who might sell a P-pump adaptor? It has the MW-pump on it now. Will the rotation be the same as a DT360, or Cummins 6BT? Myself and another guy are putting 401s in our

I've wondered the same thing. Are the stock head bolts 7/16"? The upgrade is to hog em out to 9/16" for the ARP's? I'm only looking at holding 40-60 pounds of booost in a truck 401.
