Ok. I need some help here. Building a BBJD with factory tranny and rear end. However we put a different damper pulley on and can no longer have the factory hydraulic pump to support the steering and brakes. Looking for some advice and ideas. I’m hoping that someone had this issue before and can give me some insight. Thanks in advance.

We run a similar set up on a 466. We're running a s366 with a good A pump about 600cc of fuel. With our timing where it's at makes a hell of a good running 466. I'd suggest fire rings though if not done already cause it'll blow the head gasket.

Need a little help here I bought a 7.8 engine completely disassembled. I'm putting it together and want to make sure I put the connecting rods in the right way as far as which way the angle goes. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

You have to do a lot more than just different rods. Mains are ok but you have to cut the crank weights to get it to fit as well as a bunch of grinding

I'm running a s366 on a ford at 500ci in 10 mph and open classes. It seems to be to small. I've been talking with Wimers and they suggested a gt42 2.8x3 with a 101 housing ball bearing too to spin more freely so be easier to keep lit.
