Are you running a 300 or 400 series engine? I was hoping to be around 5800 with mine but it is 6800. Tube chassis 466 intercooled 24.5 on aluminum.

I am running an Atlas 11" clutch in both of our 666's with no trouble. It is the same flywheel and clutch Karl uses on the 560's. 3 disc 11".

You will need the front and rear engine plates from a 666 or 686 that had the D312. Radiator, rework the fuel tank of you are going to run a turbo. The hardest thing to find will be the 300 series turbo manifold so you could make an adapter for the 312 manifold or a header. Some guys have used a Cummins manifold also. The gas hoods are shorter i think and all the small odds and ends like throttle

I just got done plumbing mine. Cooler delete also, I used a Peterson Fluid Systems large remote mount filter head and used a big Wix filter on it. I forget the number filter but it is probably a 3 quart filter.

The rod journals between the two are different also. If i remember correctly the ag rods are 3.00" and the truck rods are 2.50". I think the mains are the same though.

A friend of mine used a service called uship. You need to know the size and weight of item and pick a few other options and you package get put out to bid. Worked great for him ups wanted 500 to ship he got it bid at 200. Hope this helps I know I did not answer you weight question but this could save some money.

Yes as long as the tail stock is on zero. I actually did mine for a 7/16-14 thread and used a threaded rod with a jam nut to lock the threaded rod to the washer. I then double nutted the degree wheel above the heads of the 3 mounting bolts on the end of crank.

Can you just put the washer that bolts the stock balancer on in a lathe and drill and tap a hole in it to bolt the degree wheel to? I did this and it seemed to work fine.

I should also mention that I am going to still run the engine's oil pressure regulator with the heavier spring that should put the oil pressure somewhere around 80-90 psi. I guess my consern is with the large volume of oil can the regulator handle it and will it handle the high pressure of the pump?

I'm not sure but I've been told by many it is worth it to go this way. I'm sure there are many opinions and I just went with the one I bought my engine parts through.

Front and rear covers will bolt up. The newer covers with cerpentine belt I don't believe will work. I just got a damper from Kenny's, but many guys have them look in the Business directory here. Hope this helps

Has anybody run a fluid damper from a truck on a 466 in a tractor? Are they able to be run at higher RPM's than what the trucks are governed at? Looks to me like you can use a front pulley hub off a Dt 570 and bolt the truck Viscous damper to it. Thanks for any information

Is there any opinions on the 12 volt supply pump versus the mechanical pump? For my setup I think the 12volt would be ok.

I just picked up an Atlas front timing cover with the water removed and cam access hole. What I'm looking for is any pics or creative ideas on how to route the coolant lines, and what model pumps are you all using? Thanks
