Thought about it just tossing around the idea of building one for a 6500lbs outlaw class. It would be turboed . Just worried it won't be enough to be competitive again a diesel 5.9 Cummins. Or big cubes minns

I'm using a 8.3 Cummins injector body they are just long enough. Yes the angle they sit at is roughly 30 degrees half hits the piston good . I found a deutz 1011f injector tip looks pretty good but it's 180 out and I won't be able to to tighten the number on them is dlla144p527

These are in my non turbo Minn Mo 585 my head's fit the 7 mm but could possibly go to the bigger ones . I have 4 of the seven spray nozzles hitting the cylinder head . Can get to big because no turbo . So a 5 .020 is probably about right

I got dlla158p615 injector tip . It's a deere tip out of a 9500 combine I believe . Is there a tip that is close to this but 5 hole and a tighter spray pattern ?

My injectors sit in the head at roughly a 30 degree angle on the left side of the engine. I tried a tip out of a 1000 series Perkins but fuel still it the head on the right side of the head . Now a tip out of a 1011f deutz looked good but had to be spun 180 and no good way to hold it with the injectors 180 out

The shop I used put these tips on my 8.3 injectors and they are not spraying right I I spit a head gasket and when it was apart I pop tested a injector in the head on the bench and found that four of the seven streams we're spraying on the cylinder head only there were hitting the Piston bowl. I've learned alot the hard way lol and only need a 5 hole

My Oliver g1355 I have for a non turbo puller smokes alot from start to finish . Got seven hole .010 injectors. A pump 17 to 1 compression. I have the injectors deep in the hole any thoughts on pulling them out some to clean it up. If I back off fuel I lose power and I need more power for my class . Thinking if I can clean it up it will make more power

Thinking my non turbo cam might have to much duration for my large ports on my g1355 diesel with the 585. I set them by factory specs at .010 and .020 . Deutz 2011 that I work on are .020 and .050 . I think I will try that once and see if that helps.
I have even though about putting the stock cam back in it to see if that makes a difference
