I don't believe that you'd be able to change the front cover on the 4010 block. The cover is removable, however the backing plate is part of the cast block. If it was feasible, a hole would need to be cut in the front backing cover to insert the pump into the front gear set. Have you thought about running a performance rotary pump (with .450 or.500 head) located in the stock location? I

I am looking for the measurements of the bolt pattern (on center) of a SBJD 8.1 where the frame rails attach to the block. If someone could measure their block, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Call Seal-Tech. 630 692 0633. They make them in house and that's where a lot of builders purchase them. They are usually purchased in sets of three. 6 cylinders x 3 sets=18 fire rings. Quick and reliable service.

I have the 2.5x8x1.5 DA DOUBLE ROD HYD CYL
item number: 9-6688.
It has female ends on both ends of the ram. Can you use just a regular rod end or does it need a ball joint where it threads into the ram end? The ball joint would let it move a little when the spindles on the axle move in front of and to the rear of the ram. Does my thinking make sense or should I just use a stationary tie rod e

Binderlite or Ace Chassis may be your best bet (contact info in builders section). However, I'd highly recommend taking the measurements of what you need and run up to the local steel shop to have a piece sheared and broke. Then all you have to do is make some mounts. You can even purchase some simple hood latch pins from Jegs that will work to secure them. Just my thoughts on taking care o

Try taking the final off the right side and pull the brake pad pistons out all the way just so it is in the bore of the cylinder. Then put the discs back in, line everything up, and put the final back on. This will make sure the master cylinder is not bottoming out before the piston and pad makes contact with the disc. Also it is recommended to not use hyd. oil with the master cylinders. The best

What are the benefits of heavy springs at 3500 RPM? Are they needed? I already have a steel nose, heavy duty push rods, and it's a flat tappet cam.
