Fort Recovery got shaft from ntpa not letting them keep the twd class after Brandenburg gave them up for the 4x4 class last season. Thought it was always if you gave up a class you had to wait till it was available again before you could get it back. Not we were nice enough to give it to you. Brandenburg didn’t give it to anyone they chose 4x4 so twd was fair game and Fort snatched it up and now

So Jim if only 2classes have complained/brought it to the Wpi attention then why would they even consider this rule when we have 10 or so other classes. Seems to me and almost everyone else that this rule is WRONG for Ntpa and the few elite teams with money are trying to strong arm Wpi. Luck of the draw is luck of the draw! Also if you don’t think the track changes very little why would we need t

Something some people aren’t seeing in this rule is competitors like Masterson’s and Parish are a couple that come to mind in Prostock and Bobcat Shelton and Veney and Slagh’s would not be-in the GN group. They would be before or after and could easily be out off the running for the ring at BG

To Arlyn
Nhra and Nascar have teams that hit and miss as well as full timers. They don’t get favoritism when qualifying or racing why should pullers be different.

So why not just limit the GN/SN pulls to GN registered vehicles only! Then there wouldn’t be 20-30 region/per hook vehicles in the class. Oh wait the promoter won’t let that happen because they will lose out then.

Hope they put a lot of thought into this before they put that rule into effect!! If it is truly about fairness in the large classes then when they “group” then gn competitors together, I hope it’s somewhere in the middle of the class. This way no one will get the test hook advantage ( remember it’s for fairness) or if the track gets better the they won’t be at the end. Also may make BG ring not s

Also people are forgetting that last year mid summer you couldn’t get any 18.4x16.1. Now WPI wants pullers to put all their eggs in one basket so to speak and now the manufacturer can’t change anything on that tire per the new rule. Also no one will be able to run a pioneer Or cepek per their rule. So if CM wanted to try and make it better they can’t according to WPI.

Seams they have made executive decisions again about tires on minis this time that now limits to one mfg. So did they lock a price in for at least a year at the pullers best interest?

I guess with everyone’s logic on new tires that you can’t have a competitive edge so we just need to get a “iroc” pulling like nascar had back in the day. Everyone gets the same truck setup the same way!!! What a boring time that will be. Hell let’s take it back to Chevy and Littlefield days

So I’m 19th on the list at SSI for a new supercharger. With everyone complaining about availability then no one should get a new supercharger until mine is available to me as well!!! This is the same logic you are using. Now organizations are banning them until they are readily available, so what’s the number to be considered readily available??? Everyone has to have them or just the guys in yo

So what you are saying is every time a new turbo or blower comes out we should outlaw it or we should not let anyone have them until they make a run of 50 so everybody can get one?? Please explain this analogy to us. Everyone is having a cow about a set of tires that cost less than half of a prostock turbo or supercharger. Nichols’s tires were on 3 really good trucks at the farm show so to say th

Is there a minimum Guaranteed purse payout. What if you only get a 1000 people paid, that won’t be a very good payout at all. What percentage of the gate money will each class receive and then how will it be broken down from first through 12th?? Then if a class doesn’t get their 12 entries where does the extra purse money go? Hard to send in $500 for a spot and not know what we will be pulling

They sure have a lot of “rookies” that are not true rookies on the list. If you have pulled in another GN class then you would not be a true rookie. Bryan McDonald or Brandon Simon are not rookies they have pulled GN for several years. Who at Ntpa are putting these names in as rookies. If that’s what they want then give a rookie per class.

Pulling is down everywhere. Especially at the GN/CT level. Look at Superfarm, Diesel Supers are two that are really down. Region2 pulling was down in all classes except mods and they had the best numbers in years.

The only thing him and Doc’s group has the same is where the spark plugs go!! 30 year old blowers and magnetos aren’t going to get it done anymore. He needs to be happy with being 20-40 feet behind or get those “great” sponsors to cough up some money and upgrade a bunch. A win and run for their money??? He won on a non sanctioned night with no other competition so is that really winning? Hillsd

I think they will have a little trouble getting good numbers in classes. The large entry fee will deter some people from coming.
