Have a 210 HP DT466 with the MW Bosch pump that came out of a 1992 intercooled truck. I tossed the start screw, backed off the rack stop nuts, and tossed the full load screw. Only picked up 2 pounds of boost and maybe 10 HP. Good fuel pressure. Runs about like 210-220HP should run.
I would like to get 275 to 300 HP. What do I need? Bigger injectors? This is the most anemic MW I have been aroun

Working in '95 DT466PLN new generation diesel. I know to make it a DT530 all I need is a set if DT530 jugs. Can I make it a 570 using the crank out of an electronic DT570 and matching jugs?

What does it take to swap a 6466 Deere from an A pump to a P pump? Will the P bolt in place of the A with the P gear or is the block different?

I think the exhaust housing is a 231, can check tonight. Fair valley performance should have them listed on their website and have the wheel sizes listed, I’ve seen them on there before
They have 51 and 58 mm inducers for option - do you know what the exducer might be?

I have a late 4630 Deere that I will be splitting this winter. While I am in it, I would like to convert the two speed to an overdrive. I have verified that the 4630 and 4430 use the same carrier and gears but the clutches are slightly different.
I just got done putting a complete 4440 2 speed in a 4430 and it turned out great.
My question is, can I just put the 4440 gears in the 4630 carri

Blew the headgasket in my 4630 today. Was just bringing it to the shop to give it a once over. Had to drive it a couple miles so it was up to temp and I had to idle back on a slight hill to pass a car. When I throttled back up, it let loose. It literally blew the fire ring on #1 cylinder out the front between the head head and block. No warning signs, was running like a top last fall and is still

@4010 puller - I am interested in your turbo.
Just for future reference if I wanted to try it, would the exhaust housing from the stock 4430 turbo fit on the 3LM33?

NV4500 will die rather quickly. Personally I would look for a 6 speed fuller or 7 speed (6+1) Spicer (now TCC).

So how will the 3LM33 off the 4850 spool on the little 404 in the 4430? If it spools too slow, will the exhaust housing off the 4430 turbo fit on the 3LM33?

Get "Aftermarket" "stub shafts" We could not get ours in time and made 2 passes at NFMS. When we took it apart, the factory ones were twisted 2 splines worth and the spline itself was cracked
Where do you get the aftermarket stub shafts?

3LM33 from a 4850 will work fine and bolt right on with no problems and be able to farm with it.
Won't bolt right on as the manifolds have a different bolt pattern. 4430 is T3 and 4850 is T4. Also, I would think the 4850 turbo would have just as much lag as it is made to work with 466 cubic inches instead of 404.

Looking for a better turbo for my 4430 - Mainly looking for faster spool up for better low end torque. Pump has been thoroughly tweaked, just can't get the power down under 1500 RPM's like I would like to have.
Would an HX35W off of a mid '90's Dodge Cummins work well or would it be too small or too large? Any other options? Still has the stock T3 manifold...

The front bearing is a different size. You have to cut about an inch off the 4020 pinion shaft. Not sure what you want to do with it but pto gears will not work.
So I need to shorten the pinion and turn it down to 4010 size for the bearing to fit or just find a different bearing that has the correct ID and OD?
As for the PTO, this tractor actually came from the factory withou

Picked up a 4010 that I am going to swap the final drives out with on my 4430 which will leave the 4010 super slow. What does it take to put a 4020 R&P in the 4010 rear end? I have heard it takes a little modification - what exactly is required? Just a little clearancing with an angle grinder or does it take some machine work?
Thanks

Going to step up 42 rims and also increasing RPMs would get you there.
Actually it wouldn't. 4010 final drives (12% faster) and 18.4R46 tires (13% faster) will only get me to 23 MPH. Couple that with 2500 RPM and we are at 27 MPH.
42's and 2500 RPM would barely be 23 MPH.
